Dear Valued Customers and Friends,
After seven years in the Downtown Core of Hespeler Village, our family is closing
our doors and preparing for new adventures.
It has taken me awhile to make this challenging decision; I feel as though the right
path for me right now to re-invest in my studies for the next few years, while
keeping Laloba alive in more manageable (scholastic-friendly) ways.
Although I am excited to return to my University Studies this Fall, I have a heavy
heart leaving the business my mom started years ago and the vision in which I
added over the past couple of years. I will also miss the support of each of you and
the friends we’ve made along the way.
Even though I will no longer have Laloba as a local shop, I hope to continue the
online shop in the months to come. As well, I hope to continue running workshops
and having ‘Pop-Up Sales’. Come February/March I will continue with the online
shop and my personal blog. So… follow along on Facebook and my blog!
The shop will remain closed as it has been, except for our LAST EVER SALE
happening the last week of January. I’ll be selling off all sorts of products, fixtures,
etc. I hope you can join us as we say goodbye!!!

An extra thank-you goes out to my mom, ‘Staffy’, for starting such a great shop and
teaching me the ropes – we had many adventures as ‘Bossy’ and ‘Staffy’. Thank-you
as well to the rest of my family for all the work they have put into the shop over the
years, my great neighbours in Downtown Hespeler, a great landlord, and lastly (but
most certainly not least), to all the supportive customers, friends and customers that
