Life lately seems to resemble this log covered in red bugs at the end of my driveway: busy, hectic, possibly destructive, and yet still quite beautiful. I got home one night last week to this vibrant cluster of red bugs and had to stop for a moment to take a picture of them. I'm not sure what kind of bug they are, but there they were adding a bright red hue to this log. Here's some other bits of life lately: A sweet lil' girl in our family turned three, so there simply had to be a party. And the new birthday party tradition was fulfilled - wait until Uncle Ry Ry falls asleep and cover him in tissue paper. We are, after all, all about recycling :)In Laloba Life, I've been doing a lot of custom orders lately, which i love. i really enjoy being able to customize designs- it really allows me to play! Also, there's a big art and music festival happening this Saturday called A Day and A Night: Art Meets Music. Different shops on the street are showcasing artwork and we have the privilege of hosting "Blue Goddess" by Barbara Young - the Marilyn Monroe painting hanging in the window.
What's been going on in your life lately?
I hope you are enjoying the last bit of summer - I simply cannot believe it's already the end of August.
